A Thought For The Day
by Joan Estelle High
©2003

Somewhere in the night a small child cries.
Before the dawn is light an old man dies.
By the time the sun is bright a young bird flies.
Life a roller coaster has both lows and high's.
It better a dead lover than a live one the lies.
A baker is to bread what a pie man is to pies
People are so messy, they should live in sties.
Others are to stupid  they never asks the whys.
