Beacon Lights

The Summer night steals over as a cooling draught
It soothes my weary body and purifies my thoughts.
The velvet blanket of the night, wraps around my soul.
It buttons on with beacon lights to keep me from the cold.
As I go star stepping out across the midnight sky.
Toward vast heavenly wonders so far far away.
I do wish that I would not have to say good- bye
For I know that my tomorrow is just another day.
