Steve and  I have Peter Binkley 1829 as a common ancestor.
That is my gr-grandfather Junius Wesley in the back right hand corner.
His gr-grandfather is Columbus Hampton Binkley shown in the front lower left hand corner.

The children listed with question marks were from another Binkley Family member and we haven't verified these children yet.
Lots of the information on this page was researched by Steve Binkley.
Steve also sent me some Civil War Notes. The  mention Peter Binkley 1829 son of John and Sarah. It says that in 1860 , he and Henrietta had the following children Ellen age 8, Columbus H. age 6, Permelia  C. age 4 and Richard H age 1.
*There is also a note on John W. Binkley Born 1836 was captured in Va. in 4-1865, held in Point Lookout Md. until 6-1885 Married Nancy J. Sprinkle. Then married Nancy Tate

  Laura  L. Binkley Smith  married  Houston L. Smith
 He was the son of Thomas Lewis Smith and Margaret Binkley
 She died of T.B and childbirth. and was buried at Woodland In Winston Salem She was survived by her daughter Maggie Smith Chris   1909*
I have a picture of her tombstone but it didn't  photograph  too well. * Notes from Karen Hunter indicate that Maggie Smith Chris was raised by her Grandparents after the death of her mother.
