Mary Mc Nieve Byrnes
 Mother of Michael Byrnes 1854.
Born in Ireland around 1832

Married to Peter Byrnes also from Ireland.
 

Found Mary Byrnes on the 1880 census for Baltimore
She is in 4th ward on Granby St.
Listed as head of family  we find son Michael and wife Alice plus baby Mary

Her daughter Mary T. Byrnes marries Edward Jendrek,  father Charles and mother Catherine.
They have  daughters Alice and Margaret on 1910 Census. By 1930 Alice is grown and
married to someone named John and has her own daughter named Margaret age 7.

Also is John Byrne age 25 who later marries a Mary.

We have Thomas J. Byrne age 23. he marries but is widowed.
Then there is a daughter Thresa age 19
Living with them is Thomas McNeil , nephew age 21  (sailor).

If Mary Byrnes was a McNieve before she married , her mother may have been a McNeil
As there was a wedding at St. Patricks in 1857 for a Michael McNieve and Mary McNeil
We also find a McNieve and McKewen wedding in 1885 but don't know the connection
at this time.
 

Some of the children are found in other census and city directories for Baltimore, Md.

Thresa Byrnes  may never have married
as she ends up living in same house as Thomas Bynres age 50 and widowed
by 1910 census  Her death certificate lists her address at 121 W. Saratoga.
It is very difficult to read put death is around Jan 1922.and she is buried at Cathedral Cem as well.
