Born in 1854 in Baltimore Md.
Parents were Peter Byrnes  and Mary  McNieve ?(believed at this time)
Both parents were believed to be from Ireland.
His brothers were Thomas J. and John Byrnes.

He married Alice Smith Byrnes. about 1879-80
They are listed on a 1880 Baltimore census with 4 month old Mary as "Byrne"
Also listed are his  brothers and one sister Theresa Byrne
The family lived at this time at 166 Granby in the 4th Ward.
Also living with the family at this time was a cousin Thomas O'Neil

We find them  on the 1900 census living in Ward 10
At that time Michael 46, Alice 45 had the following children at home:
Mary T. age 20, Joseph age 18, Francis  John age 16, Christopher age 14,
Alice age 12, Estella age 9 and Michael Vincent age 7
The family is listed as "Burnes".

He died at  19 E. Saratoga St in Baltimore Md.
Cause of death was Lobar Pneumonia
Michael was buried at Cathedral Cem. in Baltimore
