 Homemade Soup

Chicken soup.

 I used one large  chicken breast,
Boiled in a quart of water 30 min.
Then  I strained the water
to remove fat and stuff floating
and  cut the  cooked chicken up  
I  then combined
the water and chicken
 with a can of chicken broth.
Added
 3 stalks of celery diced,
1/2 onion diced,
  1diced peeled carrot,
 4 large diced mushrooms and
and cooked for 30 min.
At that time I added 1/1/2 cup
Egg Noodles.
Cooked for about 10 min until
Noodles turned white.

Makes 4 good size servings.
Celery, Onions and Mushrooms
are almost freebies calorie wise
and  Egg noodles divided by 4
were about 15  carbs. per serving.

Nice hot meal for a cold winter day.
Seasoned to taste. I used  a little sea salt, pepper,
1/2 tsp. ground sage and 1 tsp of crushed rosemary
