Will Ya'll Listen To Us? " Please " What a shame politicians listen to the rich and powerful, and
fail to listen to the general public.

A Wake Up Call
All in all, my wife and myself are one of the lucky ones. We have
health insurance.
Having said that, it is no guarantee of medical treatment.
Three years ago we moved to Lebanon and I started using a local
doctor and clinic located on East Hwy. I always liked him and
his clinic even though my wife didn't really care for him.
My wife has had serious health issues for the last several years and
fortunately for us we had insurance. Even though we had insurance, our
share has amounted to a lot of money. I am making payments not only to
Cox Hospitals collection department, but also Ferrell Duncan Clinics.
They are all part of the Cox systems.
About a month ago, we received a letter stating that the doctor clinic
here in Lebanon would not treat us anymore because of a past due bill of
$81.00 and some change. I didn't even know I owed them anything. I
receive so many medical bills they just seem to run together. I called
them and offered to pay it then, but they said that was their policy,
and that was just the way it was. I really didn't think much about it
until I hurt my back last Friday and when I went in this Monday morning
they refused to treat me.
Do you see this amount? Eighty one dollars and change. That's barely a
night out for supper and drinks. This health system has received
thousands upon thousands of dollars from my insurance company plus what
I've paid, but yet they refused me health treatment.
Yes, I will have to go somewhere else and it is an inconvenience for my
wife and myself, but it really made me think. If the doctors and
medical facilities would do this to people that have insurance that pays
them thousands of dollars, how must the poor and less fortunate be
treated.
What does this say about a medical facility that will turn down a
patient whose insurance company has paid thousands of dollars in the
past and will probably pay thousands of dollars in the future, because
of a miserly eighty one dollars? I don't mind saying, I am astounded.
Now, before I say anymore, I am going to say that Hospital in
Springfield and the Clinics in Springfield are a quality
organization and my wife and myself have received wonderful care. I
sometimes wonder if it is just the bean counters that cause so much
grief not only in the medical field but in many organizations.

Comments on Iran
Why does the world tolerate these rogue countries?
Iran sits
there and spews out their hate and antiquated phrases of the distant
past. To punish them we should box up Rosie and send her to them with no return address. |

Politics in America.
All of us that stay in touch with the political process in America are
witnessing the creation of a Presidential candidate and maybe even a
President itself.
If I hear one more time of the great political possibilities of Barack
Hussein Obama, I am going to be sick. As we watch our nightly news
programs we continue to hear the drumbeats in praise of a man totally
un-recognized by the majority of Americans.
I am not trying to be funny or racist when I say, if you asked most
Americans who Barack Hussein Obama was, they would probably say he is
either somebody on the Iraqis most wanted list or the guy that has the
movie out that makes fun of Americans. It's as if a group of
enormously powerful men from around the world has gotten together just
to show how gullible and easily manipulated the American people are.
Ok, they say, lets find a totally unknown man that no-one knows
anything about. We will then hire the un-told hundreds of political
elitist to bombard the nation singing his praises. Not to mention,
most of these supposedly savvy political figures are people no-one
knows anything about, either. To make it even more incredible, they
pick someone with a name that Americans recognize as Islamic. They
are really laughing now.
This is no laughing matter folks. Through the making of a
presidential candidate that sounds Islamic, this is the beginning of
the manipulation of American opinion to accept Islam as mainstream in
America. A favorite tactic of all take-overs is to destroy from
with-in.
We as Americans, are long-suffering and accepting of all freedoms and
the pursuit of happiness by all people even when it is not what we
believe. It is sad when our own tolerance for this pursuit of
happiness, is used to destroy the basic principles that we believe
in.
On the surface, Mr. Obama seems to be a sincere, up-front individual.
Time magazine names him one of the worlds most influential people. A
British journal called, New Statesman, listed Obama as one of ten
people who could change the world. Now really, these are very high
powered statements for a relatively unknown political person. Before
we began considering someone for the most powerful political office in
the world, I believe that person should have to spend time working his
way up through the government and earn the acceptance and trust of the
American people.
Some would call me paranoid, but the stakes are high and it is
imperative that Americans not be manipulated by the rich and powerful,
nor those that would attempt to change our doctrines, opinions, and
freedoms.
