I had often wished for wealth, but got treasures untold.
From my mind  symbols of jewels and crosses of gold.
This coming from  some one who thought her self poor.
Until I looked  within and found this great treasure store.

I wished that I could go to some great learning school.
Because I 'd often thought I was nothing but a poor fool.
Then one peaceful  day, I looked within my soul to find,
That there was lots of knowledge, in my soul and mind.

I found many of the stories in the books upon the shelf.
Somewhere already been experiences by a former self.
I learned if you want to have wisdom, go to the source.
Direct to the One who created and designed the course.
How often I wished that I might change myself externally ,
With some  hope that others might see some beauty in me.
One day I began to look around and at others really to see.
It was then the bright  light began to shine and dawn in me.

I knew that it didn't matter if other people were fat or thin,
But what counted was the their qualities from deep within.
Just as I could see their many  faults reflecting back at me.
To know one is to be one, you are just what ever you see.
As I began to see virtues and beauty , I soon realized ,
That it's in the eyes of the beholder that true beauty lies.
