There seems to be several High families
. One group are Swiss German, Another are the
English Highs.
There were also some Swedish High and a family of Cherokee Indian Highs
. If you are an expert on any of these High lines
and have the time to help people with their research, please contact me .

At this time our High family seem to be from the English High's via
Georgia.
They settled in Crockett Texas after they came to Texas in 1860 ..
Would appreciate any information you might have on John High or his
ancestors.
