I did not know that coastal water out to 68 miles belong to anybody.
 Israel says the open sea is  claimed territory.
However the aid  ships were even further out.
When I went to school , 12 miles was the distance used.

Israel staged an armed commando type pre dawn raid,
 jumping on ropes from  the sky
and apparently they came in firing their weapons.
If this was any other nation in the world,
it would be considered a act of war.
 They should be hauled into the world court
 and charge with a war crime.
Only one of the ships put up a fight ,
some of the passenger fought back.
 In fact armed with sticks they took some of the weapons
and  them used them to fight back.
Over a dozen were killed and many more injured by the attack.

Israel seized the ships, took them to a Israel port
and have already put some passengers in jail.
They will probably steal  the goods being shipped.
 My mother always said if you lie , you will probably steal too.
Liar Liar pants on fire ! may be their new national anthem.

Many of the volunteers were older
and there was at least one baby on board.
This is not the first time Israel has committed such atrocities
but maybe this time the world will unite
 and  finally recognizing who ever is in charge of running that county
 seems to think that they are above international law and decent human standards.

You can’t believe anything this country says.
They are claiming that their troops had the right to defend them selves.
They started the fight expecting their surprise attack
 would be so scary that every body
 would just put their hands in the air and surrender.
But they were the ones surprised
and some of them got tossed over board.
Most have been some very brave people to go up against
 an armed invasion with only sticks and knives.
 I am sorry so many had to die
 and feel for their family and friends who will suffer the lost.
But having died while  trying to help others
makes them a hero in the worlds book.  
Let hope their sacrifice will be a turning point in world's opinion.
