The Sky Is The Limit
by Joan Estelle High
Revised 2002

The Earth turns slowly in the sky, set upon it's path but never questions why.
Some rivers run down to the sea, their channels set, not suppose to run free.
Mister Spider spins a web of silk, The big black cow only gives white milk.
The apple tree grows rounded fruit, and the black cow could end up a boot.
The earth worm keeps it's place, but things are different for the human race.
We are not set like a blade of grass,  to look at life through a window glass.
You are so  much more than a drop of dew, so do not let people limit you.
You can choose what you have to do,  choose the life that is best for you.
There are sometimes when we must climb the highest hill, our spirits to fulfill.
Dance Ballet if that appeals to you, if that will make your dream come true.
Hitch a ride on a rocket ship to the stars, search for life on Jupiter or Mars,
Build a big bubble beneath the sea, for it is you alone that charts your destiny
