The Binkley family is as large as the lost tribe of Israel. Maybe even larger. We trace our line back to Bern Switzerland. There is information back to Peter Binggelli and Magdalena Spring in 1656. One of their sons Hans Christian(10-10-1669 to 1713) married: Elizabeth (Elsbeth) Burri or Berg (4-11-1669 to 1711 ? ) in Bern Switzerland on 10-20-1693 . She was the daughter of :Jaggi Burri and Elsbeth Zbindon, Her paternal grand parents Jaggi (Jacob) Burri and Elsbeth Beyeler, Her mother people were Hans Zbindon and Ana Byngelli Her paternal great-grandparents were Christen Burri and Anna Stoll And Her paternal great-grandparents were Wilhelm Beyeler and Ana Kaunn/Kuhn They had 10 children one of which was my grand mothers ancestor Peter Binggeli, which later became Binkley.

I have had help from all over the country.
First I must thank Graham Reich my cousin in North Carolina. He is Mattie Binkley Reich son and has been a gold mine of family information.
Thanks also to Elizabeth Harris of Duke University for getting me started
down the trail.
One of the leading researcher and gatherer of the Binkley family
history is Mrs. Bridget Rogiers. She has tons of information that she make available just for the cost
of duplicating the material.
There is a lot of Binkley-Hauser information to be found on Faye
Morgan's site which was
at http://cgibin1.erols.com/fmoran/
Special thanks goes to Mark B. Arslan <arslanm@ mindsping.com>
for sending the information on my great-great grandmother Henretta Cornelia
Hauser Binkley. He has a web site that has the descendents of Martin
Hauser ( 1696 to 1761) and Maria Margaretha Schaefer (1702-1665)
down five generations . The Url for that site is http://www.geocities.com/Heartland/Hills/6359/hauser/hauser.html
The Hausers and the Binkley's had intermarried before Peter and Henretta.
Now thanks to Mark I have the Hauser family tree back to
Europe in 1696 also.
I have a few picture of the Binkley line but some didn't scan
well.
Included below is the gravestone of my great grandfather Junius Wesley
Binkley and his daughter Mattie Binkley Reich. Would appreciate any family pictures of this line that might be available
for display on this site
I have an interesting picture that my daughter took.
The name on it is Lena Roger Binkley wife of W.L. Binkley
Sept 10, 1889 -Jan 197
Don't know who W.L. Binkley was at this time. If you know this lady
be sure and contact me.
*Receive information that Lena Boger Binkley
was the wife of Willie Lee Binkley
Thanks to Karen Hunter.. Our latest Binkley researcher
to check in.
